Deals with tenant and landlord problems, monitors co-op and condo conversions in the entire District. Liaises with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, NYCHA and various housing groups in the community. Monitors City-funded contracts to housing groups. Effects Public Hearings on UDAAP Actions and 421-a Tax Incentives.
Serves as the umbrella organization for the Community Board, City agencies, local residents, and community-based organizations directly and indirectly affected by any rezoning in the District. Currently working closely with Morningside Heights residents on rezoning
